General comments on section/paragraph of the draft NHP Guidelines:
Part A - Using non-human primates only when justified

Dear Madam/ Sir, I am opposed to non human primates being used for scientific purposes, because they are so simular to humans that they would suffer as much as a humans and it is inhumane. There are many alternatives educated by Humane Research Australia and Physicians for Responsible Medicine. Because they cannot talk in english, and there for not give their consent they should not be used by scholars to achieve their PHD,s. I work with humans who cannot talk because of a disability, we do not have the right to experiment on them either. thanks for your time Angela Swan

Part A - Supporting the wellbeing of non-human primates

Treat non human primates as we would human primates, simple as that..treat them as you would like to be treated. thanks for your time Angela swan
