Specific Questions
1. Introduction: 

The Queensland Nurses and Midwives' Union (QNMU) asks the NHMRC to ensure that the revised Guidelines are included in a revised edition of the “Prevention and control of infection in residential and community aged care” published by NHMRC in 2013.   Aged care should not be viewed in isolation but as part of the health care system.  The principles of the revised Guidelines must be transferred and applied to non-hospital settings such as residential aged care homes and community aged care.
