Questions
Q3. Is there additional evidence on the effectiveness of homeopathy for the treatment of clinical conditions in humans that needs to be considered? To be considered in public consultation any additional evidence must::

Not mentioned, I believe, in your existing body of literature is the homeopathic success in Cuba concerning Leptospirosis: Bracho, Gustavo et al. Large-scale application of highly-diluted bacteria for Leptospirosis epidemic control. Homeopathy, 2010; 99: 156-166.  (prospective cohort study).

The intervention arm comprised c. 2.1 million people (IR) and the comparison arm (RC) 8.8 million people. The infection rate for leptospirosis was reported in the British Medical Journal as having ‘dropped to near zero, for a cost that was a small fraction of what they had been paying for vaccination’. The IR region was historically the area most badly affected, but the homeopathy programme has since been extended to the whole of Cuba, with the same success.

The results have been recently re-analyzed and confirmed as correct: Golden,  Gustavo Bracho, Journal of Evidence-Based Complementary & Alternative Medicine March 11, 2014 2156587214525402.
