I believe gender selection for family balancing purposes should be available in Australia. Far too many families are going through the agonising decision to make the difficult "journey" to try and balance their families by travelling overseas, it is not the most supportive environment to be in, away from loved ones and your familiarity, to undertake such and emotional and physically challenging time. Being able to do this at home in Australia would surely carry less risk and have superior outcomes. If people yearn so badly to have a child of a particular gender and its a committment that they are willing to make and pay for please allow them the opportuntiy.

Everyday a woman is undertaking gender selection of some sort of method in attempt of fulfilling their dreams, lets make it a little easier by removing the ban here, and hey while were at it removing the judgement on their decision!
