Make general comments

there should be no commercial conflict of interest; any person with commercial financial ties should not be formulating guidelines. if necessary experts with such ties should give opinions but the authors of guidelines should have sufficient expertise to judge evidence on topics that are not necessarily their prime areas of research. whatever disclosure etc is employed , any guidelines written by individuals with commercial conflict of interest will be flawed. we do not need such individuals to be on guideline committes- there are enogh people without commercial conflicts. once we have sorted this out we can then think about other forms of conflict of interest; worrying about these now only impedes sorting out the main problem.
