Consultation Paper on NHMRC’s Research Fellowships Scheme

Closed on Monday, 29 June 2009, 12:00am (AEDT). Submissions are no longer being accepted.

NHMRC’s Research Fellowship scheme, in place now for decades, has been an outstanding success.  Many of Australia’s current and past research stars have been supported through the scheme and NHMRC remains strongly committed to it.

As part of its role in reviewing funding schemes, NHMRC’s Research Committee has been considering whether any refinements and changes should be made, to ensure that Australia continues to gain maximum value from the scheme.

Research Committee launched a consultation process which raised a number of questions and issues for comment and input from the research and wider community in the Consultation Paper on NHMRC’s Research Fellowship Scheme. Submissions were invited on this paper under section 13 (d)(iii) of the National Health and Medical Research Council Act 1992.
